MCPE Compliance and Sanctions


“Council had approved sanctions on defaulting members to make up for deficient credit hours. Each member must obtain a minimum of 30 credit hours per annum, effective from 2005.

According to Council’s directives, defaulting member(s) will be denied of the followings:

• Sponsoring students for registration, exemptions, examinations and registration for induction into the membership.

• Sponsoring associate members to be elevated to fellowship.

• Obtaining and Reviewing of Practising licence

• Selection into committees of the Institute

• Contesting Council election and

• Chairman or occupying any other executive position in a district society

Any member who is deficient in the number of credit hours per year will not be allowed to participate in the above-mentioned functions”.
